The technician,Stephen, was very informative and personable. I felt he showed me every option and he was perfectly fine with my decision. I've seldom dealt with a company that's been more accommodating than Precision Garage Door. My phone rep was respectful and flexible in meeting my schedule. I was also fortunate enough to have had Mr. Stephen Zerkel as my service technician. Stephen evaluated my current issue then presented me with his recommendations. Stephen was on-time, thorough, effective and listened to me describe my initial service needs. His repairs were clean, rapid and results oriented. He didn't try to upsell me, rather, he provided options that may be needed in the future. I've have always used the "other" well known company for installation and repairs in the past. No longer. Precision is now my "go-to" garage door company. Well done Stephen!

Stephen did solve my first problem. He replaced the south door opener completely, which I agreed I needed. Signals were getting to the unit (Light came on and off), but door would not move. We decided the head was kaput. As of now I have not received a receipt even though I have received an email directing me to this website. So our email link is is working. This problem can be fixed by sending me a receipt for what I have paid and for the work done. Maybe they just need to get Stephen back to town to complete the paper work? Finally, Stephen had opened my north door to access the garage and his truck. So when it was time to depart I tried to close it. Nada. I shall make the story short. Stephen stuck around and we debugged the situation. It is unclear why both garage doors failed within 24 hours of each other. But I am happy enough to invite Precision to return on Saturday to replace the north opener.

I had one of my springs break on my garage door this morning. I called both Ankmar and Overhead Door and they both wanted to charge me $250 for an emergency repair plus the cost of new springs and labor. I then called Precision Door and no emergency repair charges. Stephen Zerkel came within 2 hours of my phone call. Stephen replaced both springs with no issues and was very pleasant to talk to. Called precision last night around 6:00pm after our garage wouldn’t open. The call was super quick and easy, they had a technician scheduled to come out the next morning. I appreciated the text/email updates leading up to the appointment and Stephen went above and beyond fixing the tension issue on the garage door opener.
